Alone... on my 8th month birthday.

Boo-hoo-hoo! When I was about to turn 8 months, my humans went on an overseas holiday for yonks ! Actually, it was for 5 weeks. And they left me with someone I haven't met before. Can you imagine that ? Mwah - still a puppy, left in a faraway place (Zenchel Kennels), with a stanger(Ms.Powers), all-by-myself ?!? Maybe this is the reason why they named me Otso (Spanish for eight), because they have planned for this way before, to make me celebrate my eight month birthday alone. Boo-hoo-hoo!


Then, Ms. Powers said something that had my head tilt this way...
Yesss! I can have friends over for my birthday party! Yippee !!!


Okay, where are they? I have my toys ready to share.


Woohoo !!! There's Frank the beagle boy. Here's a toy, Frank. C'mon, let's play!


Okay, you can run with my toy and I'll chase you and pretend I can't catch you, alright?!?

I wonder where they went to that I cannot come ?... Hmmnn, I'll just play dramatics like my co-cancerian sign, Lindsay Lohan, and emote - "I am so alone..."

Water !!!

OMG, I'm in heaven ! It took a little while of riding in the car but when we got there I saw the biggest sand pit ever! We have the same in school but a lot, lot smaller. This is awesome ! And plenty water too! meeMaa' said we are in St.Kilda Beach.

Maybe I'll be able to bunk here and not go home anymore if I just dig some more...

I just heard meeMaa' say that I definitely am a water dog. Actually, I didn't know that too before today. It sure does wonder to my sfurit!!!

Travelling...

Yippee ! I like getting in the car, it takes me to different and faraway and exciting places.

When I was young I was always sleepy. I can't believe I fell asleep while we were camping ! I love camping, but after walking for, I really think that was 8 hours, but meeMaa' said it was only 45 mins and there was a lot of stops, I was really, really tired, I just flopped.

Sleeping... snoring... quivering...

Zzzz.... Zzzz.... quiver... quiver.... ngorkkk... ngorkkk... psheww... Zzzz !

Quiet down please... I had a late night last night and I could really use some sleep, you know. Anyway, now that you have my attention, wazzup?

That's mee mate, Robo. I used to share bed with him, but - he like, disappeared. I miss him... Last I saw him he had a big wound on his back and all this white stuff coming out of him. And then when I woke up he is gone. And then I saw him again, he was on top of the white laundry cabinet. I think it's the hospital. I keep visiting him coz he is sick.

Okay, I'm safe. I can see a creepy crawly a mile away before it reaches me. Perhaps when I am bigger I won't be too scared of them anymore.

2 months old

These are a few of my pictures when I was 2 months old. That was a long time ago ! I can't remember most ot those times anymore, except when I see some of the stuff I have destroyed. meeMaa' says I did those things... NO, it wasn't me ! Actually, I don't know... maybe...?

I asked meeMaa' where my teddy bear bed is 'coz it's my favorite. It's so soft and fluffy and warm and tender. And she said it's gone to the rainbow bridge. Hasta la vista, Teddy!

That's okay. 'Coz she bought me 3 more beds. I grew big so fast my beds lasted very quickly.

Here's a video when I was 2 months old. meeMaa' said that it is rare that I am awake when I was still little.

Otso - the Big Yeyow Dog from Downunder

Hello! My name is Otso, and I think it means eight in Spanish. But I have digested a lot of papers already in my 22 months of life, and I think meeMaa' (yup! that how I call my human) got the spelling wrong! But that's ok, coz I'm not Spanish anyway.

Apparently, when they first saw me (I was still at my mom's place) I looked like a number eight from behind. With my head and my body as the two O's. Fair enuff ! I was a bit chubby then. But didn't they see my tail? Come to think of it - if they have noticed my tail they may have named me 'Q'.

That's it from me today as I am still learning how to type. It's not easy you see, with my webbed paws and all. Anyway, tomorrow I will show some of my long ago pictures !
